$1,000,000 Judgment in Favor of Prince Yeates’ Client

August 4, 2016

Another significant win for Prince, Yeates & Geldzahler and one of our clients in the Utah Court of Appeals decision regarding LDIII LLC v Beverly Jean Black Davis.

Real Estate Law Attorneys Michael Zundel and James Boevers represented the client in the case.

A statement from Mr. Boevers regarding the positive decision.

“Regarding new developments in which firm clients may be interested, linked below is a recent decision from the Utah Court of Appeals in an appeal that Mike Zundel and I have now won. The court of appeals affirmed a judgment  of over $ 1,000,000  for our client (including attorney fees) based on the opposing party’s contempt of court (refusal to obey a court order to sell some real estate to our client). The court of appeals also awarded our client attorney fees incurred on appeal. At our request, the lower court required the opposing party to post a property bond (real estate) to secure the judgment and the real estate appears to be worth at least the amount of the judgment.”
