
Sally B. McMinimee
Sally McMinimee has practiced law in Utah for over twenty years with a focus on commercial and family law and she currently serves as counsel to a receiver in a large federal receivership.
She was born in Brewster, Washington, and attended Colorado State University and the University of Utah, where she received her B.A. degree in political science, magna cum laude, in 1983. She earned a J.D. degree in 1988 from the University of Utah College of Law, where she was a William H. Leary Scholar. During law school, Ms. McMinimee was awarded the honor of "Best Oral Argument" and was a Moot Court finalist. She began clerking for Prince Yeates while she was in law school and joined the firm after graduation.
Ms. McMinimee is active in the legal community, having participated in a variety of legal organizations including the Salt Lake County Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Utah, several Utah State Bar committees, and as a founding member of Collaborative Family Law of Utah. She regularly provides pro bono services in her community, for which she has been recognized, and she currently serves on the Salt Lake Diocesan School Board.
