
Jonathon T. Tichy
Jonathon Tichy’s broad practice involves all aspects of civil litigation and appellate work.
He has participated in numerous jury trials, arbitrations and mediations, and was co-counsel on a case that resulted in a record jury verdict in one Utah court.
Prior Professional Experience
Having spent six years abroad in various business, legal and governmental capacities, Mr. Tichy is certified fluent in the Slovak and Czech languages. In the late 1990s he worked for the United States Department of State as a political officer and analyst at the United States Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic. For his work there, he was awarded the prestigious Meritorious Honor Medal. He also served as the ranking staff aide to Assistant Secretary of State and Ambassador John Shattuck.
