PDFPracticing primarily in the areas of transactional law and general civil and commercial litigation, Erin M. Stone is able to assist clients with a broad variety of legal issues.
From January 2005 through March 2007, Ms. Stone served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable J. Thomas Greene, United States District Court for the District of Utah. As a federal law clerk she gained extensive research and writing experience on numerous federal issues, both civil and criminal. This experience allowed Ms. Stone the valuable opportunity to participate in the legal decision-making process.
Ms. Stone graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Arizona State University in December 2000. She then attended the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, where she received a Juris Doctor degree in 2004. While in law school, Ms. Stone participated in the Pro Bono Initiative Program by volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul's Street Law Clinic from October 2003 until December 2004. She also served as a member of the student council and as an extern for Judge Greene.
Ms. Stone's experience also includes clerking for the Utah Attorney General's Office, State Agency Counsel Division, and practicing as a Deputy District Attorney for the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office, Civil Division. Since 2005, Ms. Stone has been and continues to be an active participant in the Aldon J. Anderson American Inn of Court. She is also currently serving as a Board Member for the Girl Scouts of Utah and as a Board Member on the S.J. Quinney College of Law, University of Utah Young Alumni Association.
Ms. Stone joined Prince Yeates in 2007 and is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in Utah.
