
D. Jay Gamble
Estate planning, probate, trust administration and general business/corporate law are Mr. Gamble's primary areas of concentration at Prince Yeates. He is also involved in liquor licensing applications and related matters and gives clients general advice regarding the state's liquor laws.
Mr. Gamble was born in Boise, Idaho. He attended the University of Notre Dame and the University of Utah, where he received a B.A. degree in 1965. He earned an MBA degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 1966, where he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Scholastic Honorary Society. In 1970 he was awarded a J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Gamble joined Prince Yeates. He is a member of the Utah State Bar and the Salt Lake County Bar Association.
Mr. Gamble served three years on the Board of Trustees of Judge Memorial Catholic High School, eight years on the Special Exhibitions Council of the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, nine years on the Board of Trustees of the Utah Alcoholism Foundation and eight years on the Board of Trustees of Utah's Hogle Zoo. Mr. Gamble has acted as Legal Counsel for the Zoo since retiring from its Board in 2002. He is a member of the National Association of Alcohol Beverage Licensing Attorneys (NAABLA) and is also affiliated with the Alliance of Alcohol Industry Attorneys and Consultants.
