Kellie F. Williams has practiced law in Utah for thirty-five years, with a focus on family law. Her practice concentrates on complex divorce, custody and divorce modification matters. She has successfully argued cases before the Utah Court of Appeals and the Utah Supreme Court.
Prior Professional Experience
Ms. Williams practiced in the area of family law, in addition to having a practice in criminal law and estate planning, as a founding and managing partner in the firm of Corporon & Williams, P.C. in Salt Lake City from 1980 to 2011.
She was then Of Counsel with the firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy from 2011 to 2015, where she was Chair of the Family Practice Group. She joined Prince Yeates & Geldzahler as a Shareholder in 2015.
Ms. Williams had previously attended Southern Utah University and the University of Utah where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, graduating magna cum laude, with honors in 1977. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law in 1980.
Ms. Williams was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1980.

Ms. Williams is the Chair of the Board of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake. In that capacity she has been honored for her volunteer service and mentoring of at- risk youth. She previously served as Treasurer of the South Valley Council of Valley Mental Health for several years.
Ms. Williams is an avid golfer and cook. She also enjoys adventure travel.
Distinctions and Awards
Ms. Williams has been honored as Utah’s Legal Elite in the area of Family Law by Utah Business Magazine. Ms. Williams is peer review and judicial rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell. She has presented at numerous education programs for the Family Law Section and the Utah State Bar, and has served on various task forces and committees in the family law area, including the Utah Family Court Task force from 1992-1994. She was also selected as one of The Best Lawyers in America® for 2016 in the specialty of Family Law.
