John B. Lindsay is a shareholder at Prince, Yeates & Geldzahler. His primary practice involves the representation of lenders in affordable housing and commercial real estate transactions.

Mr. Linsday has negotiated and documented over 300 affordable housing LIHTC transactions in 30 states. These transactions include the negotiation and documentation of Section 538 loans made under the loan guarantee program of the United States Department of Agriculture. These loans typically involve Section 42 tax credits and subordinate debt from multiple sources and sometimes involve bond proceeds.

Mr. Lindsay also is experienced in structuring, documenting, and negotiating a variety of complex commercial real estate loans, including loans extended for the financing of office
buildings, medical facilities, assisted living facilities, hotels, apartments, residential projects, and retail projects. He advises clients with respect to diverse credit facilities that include intercreditor-agreements, participation and syndication agreements, subordination agreements, letters of credit, lines of credit, and various types of security
instruments. Mr. Lindsay was a commercial loan officer before attending law school.
